About Us: Airwayz is a rapidly growing startup with over 20 employees, dedicated to revolutionizing the world of low altitude flights, including drones and autonomous aerial vehicles.
Role: QA Team lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s QA efforts, overseeing automation tests, manual tests, performance testing, and production testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams, actively engaging in hands-on QA testing for newly released products and influencing future product development.
- Manage the current QA team (1-2 employees), and drive the growth and development of the QA team.
- Optimize existing work processes and introduce new ones as needed to enhance efficiency and productivity over time.
- Serve as a knowledge center for the QA domain within the company.
- Provide feedback on roadmap changes and PRDs before they reach relevant teams.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience as a QA professional is a must.
- Previous experience as a QA team lead or tech lead for at least 1 year is essential.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, including Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, team leadership, and test automation.
- Proficiency in Java, NodeJS, or Python (at least one) is mandatory.
- Experience in writing end-to-end automated tests is an advantage.
- Ability to explore and initiate new ideas, think independently, and learn autonomously.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Outstanding communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration with other groups.
